Before we get into the DiRT 4 setups for Baja, one key thing to know about Dirt 4’s tuning, how much you can adjust your vehicle’s setup depends solely on your chief engineer’s tuning skill. If you are just starting off in the game you will be limited to how much you can adjust each setting. Just get your tune as close as possible and it should help some. We were able to improve our lap times some even without being able to get everything configured exactly as shown below.
Jackson Pro Truck 4WD Setup for DiRT 4 California Baja Full
This setup comes from Ryan Hamblin. He clarifies that he races in gamer mode versus simulation. While this setup may work just as well in simulation mode, you may want or need to make some adjustments possibly. Look to achieve 35 second lap times with this setup. Ryan’s fast times are set during midday with light rain showers turned on.
