Before we get into the DiRT 4 setups for Nevada, your chief engineer’s tuning skill will dictate how much you can adjust your vehicle’s setup. If you are just starting off in the game you will be limited to how much you can adjust each setting. Just get your tune as close as possible and it should help you improve your overall lap times from the default setup.

One key thing to point out for Dirt 4’s tuning, how much you are able to adjust your vehicle’s setup solely depends on your chief engineer’s tuning skill. If you are just starting off you’re going to be limited to how much you can adjust each setting.
